The first real day on the job for all new cabinet members today and there have been criticism about racist comments. Theresa May started off her speech after becoming Prime Minister mentioning black and white and leaving out the other ethnic minorities such as the chinese. Her speech was so unprofessional and badly written as she could have said 'colour of the skin'.
These are extraordinary offensive statements including Andrea Leadsom comment on male nannies, again racist and divisive. They both have got unreconstructed gender attitudes, that they cannot be seen to relate to be talking to professionals. Again, Boris Johnson was rude and undiplomatic when he said EU instead of the European Union. The European Union has got a name. This is intolerable and it shows there is still so much ignorance and immaturity in Westminster.
David Davis has put a foot wrong and does not seem to be really a true 'Leave' campaigner when he said that the negotiation is of most within between 12 and 24 months. Whether he can negotiate a free trade area massively larger than EU remains to be seen. Article 50 must be triggered immediately because we must provide massive markets for our exports and cut costs for our manufacturing industries.
European Union countries are acting irrationally and refusing to change already for new reforms as proved by David Cameron many times when he tried to renegotiate to leave the European Union and stay in the single market.
The European Union has made it very clear that there will be no compromise on free movement while the UK cannot compromise on ending free movement so it can control immigration.
Single market is not the right word right from the start, because there is no such thing as Double market, Treble market etc. It does not make sense. It should have been free trade market from the beginning and existed in ancient times.
We have got to remember that we have voted to leave the European Union, meaning we are now shut out of the single market. We can only invoke the Article 50 in order to negotiate free trade market [single market] without free movement and without delay.
Any more delays on the invoking of the Article 50 means that no one in Westminster is really serious about officially leaving the European Union.
We have spent millions or billions of pounds on NATO intended to equip our troops effectively and safely. That has led to negligence, and no self respecting politician, and self respecting chief of staff would allow our troops to fight like paupers.
