People Power and People Change

We need more people power for power change. We cannot control situations or events caused by politicians and world leaders. They would try and change history, manipulate history and make history happen, that we, the  people and democracy does not want to happen.

Politics are getting worse and worse as we have had politicians been involved in campaigning for the referendum whether it is leave or remain. Politicians were playing God all the time especially in not letting people vote for a new Prime Minister.

The government under David Cameron has been corrupted, and we should not have had a hung parliament in the first place. We are about to have another corrupt government under Theresa May as she supported a lot of policies that we are against such as the Iraq war, the Syrian war, Nato, raising student fees and many more.

We are challenged to change ourselves in order to make things happen such as people power, who we should vote for, people change and positivity. We have to take advantage of politicians having made change, so that we can turn it around. It inspires us to choose a better life.

We cannot let abuse in politics change our lives so that we cannot make it better. We cannot let politicians change our lives for the worst, so it is up to us to change and take advantage of situations and events for the common good.

We need to rise up above ourselves, and not let frustration, anger, hate sorrow take over our lives.

Having Theresa May as Prime Minister is one of our darkest moments fighting for real change and real democracy as well as justification. We need to be strong and firm, and show people power and people change, but not through protests or riots, but through stance on what we believe.

We can control our reaction, and journey forward out of darkness into light. We can still choose to deal with,  and react properly to any occurrences in our daily lives that politicians throw at us.

During tough times, our emotions run the gamut, denial, fury, despair, numbness, isolation, desperation in order to heal, we must feel. But we have a say in what we do with our feelings.

There are no right or wrong reactions, only what serves us and what does not. It may help you to be angry and express your rage, it may help to be alone for some time to think rationally.

What is crucial when moving through a crisis is maintaining self awareness. While we relinquish control over the circumstances, we can still maintain our connection to ourselves. We can work with this knowledge to face the challenge of changing ourselves.

Whether we like it or not, it does not really matter. Life altering events will change us, in one way or another.

Instead of tuning out to avoid the pain, dealing with, and even embracing tragedy, and its consequences gives us an active role in guiding our own change and growth. Transformation is all around us. Transitions are the birthing pains, alternatively exhilarating and difficult, that can bring wondrous, challenging beautiful changes into our lives.
