Prime Minister Theresa May is again ignorant and immature when she said that 'I want to get the best possible deal for the whole of United Kingdom'. It shows that she is afraid of the Scots, and it was wrong to be bidding to appease the Scots who strongly oppose Brexit.
After meeting with First Minister Nicola Sturgeon said that Pro-EU Scots should not be dragged out against their will, and is looking at the wrong way to look at Scotland being kept in the bloc.
Britain cannot, just not trigger formal divorce talks with the European Union until a UK approach has been agreed.
Scotland has voted to stay. But Scotland is not the only one with a majority, and Scotland only forms a very small part of the United Kingdom. Wales have voted leave and a few regions such as, say Liverpool may have voted leave [correct or not].
We cannot say that winning the leave campaign is against the will of the people. We have to include all nations and regions within the United Kingdom, and Scotland is no exception.
It is right that Scotland should be involved in the Brexit talks and negotiations, but only after the invoking of Article 50. Scotland does not have the right to delay or block the Article 50 because Scotland is still part of the United Kingdom, and the longer we stall, the sooner Scotland will have a 2nd independence referendum.
We have to fully protect Scotland's interests through the United Kingdom's process as much as we can. I know of ways to keep Scotland in Europe of which we always be part of, but not in the European Union.
It is a pathetic excuse for Scotland wanting to stay in the European Union because of losing funding from the European Union. Scotland must realise that all the billions of pounds given to the European Union has been misspent, and United Kingdom did not benefit from being in the European Union. It was a complete waste of money giving European Union billions of pounds over the last few years. After the divorce, all or some of this money will be channelled to help all the nations within the United Kingdom. This is to close the gap between rich and poor divide.
Scotland has got to realise that new reforms are needed in the European Union to be free from bureaucratic nightmare and restrictions. And now the European Union are saying there has got to be freedom of movement [blackmail] so that we got to accept the never ending flux of immigrants or migrants. And with no control over the borders, promptly other countries to close borders in view of their economic situation, lack of state facilities and many more.
It is unthinkable not to keep the union of nations within the United Kingdom because we do need each other.
If Scotland wanted to be independent, it has to prove that it can be sustainable and self sufficient before it can be fully and officially devolved. I do not see that happening for a very long time, even if they have a 2nd independence referendum. It never can be legitimate, until there is proof of sustainability and is fully independent in self sufficiency.
We must move on, and with all nations altogether, can we overcome obstacles in trading together in United Kingdom, and go global for cooperation, more trade, and prosperity with other countries.
I still insist that the Prime Minister invoke Article 50, so that all nations within the United Kingdom can finally accept that there is divorce, and that we can start to negotiate as soon as possible.
We have the people's interests at heart for all nations within the United Kingdom, and it is time they benefit for their spiritual, physical, mental and material needs.
